Opened in 2018, Arthur’s is an award winning 24 cover restaurant based in The Fox pub, Coxbench, Derbyshire run by local couple, Leo Hill and Amelia Hawkins.
Serving both a 5 and 10 course menu written by Leo and the kitchen team that changes monthly, our dishes are a true reflection of the Great British seasons and are built around strong nostalgia for childhood classics (truffled cheesy chips anyone?).
Using our high street and Derbyshire based suppliers and locally foraged ingredients we aim to always provide produce at its absolute best, be it wild garlic foraged on the river banks of Milford or Pork from Jerry Howarth’s butchers, just around the corner!
Our passion for delivering a great time for our diners has seen us named “most innovative” in the Derby food and drinks awards 2022, being nominated as “best restaurant” in the same awards the year previous, Earning the title of “Best newcomer” in the Derbyshire life food and drink awards 2018 and coming runner up in the OFM best restaurant category 2022.
Operating under a Bring your own booze policy, enjoy a 10 course tasting menu with friendly and relaxed service with whatever drop you fancy bringing, we like to think we’re the true definition of relaxed fine dining.
